We can often connect with each other through food. Food offers more than nutrition that sustains us physically. It tells a story about our past, heritage, and culture. This event is in partnership between Asian Food Collective and Philly Asian & Queer.
The Wellness Jawn is facilitated by Jie Bin of BGH Wellness. Jie (he/him) is a certified counselor, who offers a holistic look at wellness by combining mental health and nutrition by incorporating culinary therapy concepts in a group setting. During this time participants will cook alongside Jie, learn about the culture and history of the ingredients, and share a meal together to process the experience.
